Dr. Vladimir Tismensky

Dr. Vladimir Tismensky is a native of Riga, Latvia. He moved to the Detroit metropolitan area in 1991. Subsequent to graduation from the University of Detroit Mercy Dental School, Dr. Tismensky entered the Endodontics Residency Program at the I.B. Bender Division of Endodontics, Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, P.A. He was elected to Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the National Dental Honor Society, in 1999.

Dr. Tismensky has been in private practice as an Endodontist since 2001. He has taught Endodontic surgical techniques to endodontic residents as a part time faculty at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry until moving to Chicago in 2007. Dr. Tismensky is a Board Eligible Endodontist, active in the American Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association and the Chicago Dental Society. His special expertise includes complex non-surgical re-treatments and microscopic Endodontic surgery. He is also a creator of an Orland Endodontics Blog.

Dr. Tismensky speaks fluent Russian and Latvian. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family, skiing and weightlifting. He resides in Chicago with his wife and three children.
